With the increasing levels of competition in Indonesia, the success of the hotel business is no longer just rely on a strategic location and good service. It takes a careful planning of the concept of hotel which can compete competitively both in the present and the future and have the ability to survive and stay alive.

The hotel operators which currently operates in Indonesia are doing so, they perform brand diversification by offering a different concept that is always in demand by customers.

For hotels that have been in operation long enough with the physical appearance already look worn, it should be doing renovations, rebranding and re-drafted so that hotel guests will not be abandoned and moved to another hotel which is newer and better.
